For those who prefer to have their feet planted firmly on solid ground, the Campgrounds at Lake Lanier Islands Resort® and Shoal Creek are just the place. Enjoy the serenity and natural beauty at one of our rustic campsites for RVs and tents. Our sites have recently been upgraded to 50 amp service at Shoal Creek Campgrounds. We offer adapters to allow our 30 amp customers to continue utilizing these facilities.
The Lake Lanier Islands Resort and Shoal Creek campgrounds offer an idyllic rustic destination for adventurers who yearn to sleep under the star-filled skies of Georgia. Spacious and scenic, the sites are ideal for RV's and tents. During the day, guests have easy access to all the excitement of Lake Lanier Islands Resort, including LanierWorld waterpark, award-winning golf facilities, rejuvenating spa treatments, the equestrian center, zip line canopy tours and more. Boat ramps are available at all of our campgrounds.
Shoal Creek Campgrounds | Open year round. Located approximately seven miles from Lake Lanier Islands just off Buford Dam Road and Shadburn Ferry Road, Shoal Creek campground features large wooded sites with tables, fire rings and grills. Campground Map | 50 Amp Service |
Lake Lanier Islands Resort's Blue Ridge Campgrounds | Open April thru September. Located along the shores of Lake Sidney Lanier. Sleep under the stars in a serene environment, suitable for RVs and tents. A boat ramp, fishing pier, and camp store are conveniently located nearby to complete your perfect Lake Lanier Islands camping experience. *Rates are based on one camping unit, two adults and accompanying children free. Extra adults are $2.00 per night with the maximum site capacity of 6 campers. 2-Night minimum required and holiday weekends are a 3-night minimum.
