Saddle up for the ride of your life at Lake Lanier Islands Equestrian Center. Gentle horses are ready to take you through a set of scenic trails along the shores of Lake Lanier Islands. In addition to trail rides, the Equestrian Center offers pony rides, summer camps, riding lessons and much more in a relaxed and educational setting.
Trail & Pony Rides
Experience Lake Lanier Islands horseback riding on one of our trail or pony rides. Older kids and adults can enjoy a 45-minute ride along the shores of Lake Lanier Islands, which departs every hour on the hour. Younger kids can go on a 30-minute ride, suitable for children two years of age and up weighing less than 80 pounds. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Riding Lessons
Choose between private and semi-private riding lessons, great for beginner or intermediate riders. Riders will learn horsemanship including grooming, use and care of equipment, horse anatomy and introductory riding skills with certified A.R.I.A. instructors. Both English and Western disciplines offered. Group lessons are also available for three to five people.
Summer Camps
The week long camp in June and July is recommended for beginner and intermediate riders ages 7-13. Clinics include horse grooming, English and Western riding techniques, trail rides, riding to music, arts and crafts, horse body painting and swimming at LanierWorld.
