Department Position Description
Banquets Captain

Experienced Banquet Captain with a proven track record of organization, leadership, attention to details, pre-planning and excellent communication skills. Must be able to provide consistency in service standards. Ability to work in fast paced environment with supervisory experience and ability to lead a diverse team. Available all shifts to include weekends and holidays. 

Golf Course Maintenance Equipment Operator

Previous golf maintenance (Turf Grass) experience preferred, must perform a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance, mainly semiskilled ground construction, preparation and maintenance work. Must have a valid driver's license with good driving history. Able to operate powered mowing equipment, hand tools and complete daily manual labor, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Some weekends are required.  AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.

Legacy Lodge Kitchen Garde Manger

Previous experience required. Ability to prepare all the components of cold appetizers, ranging from salads to cheese plates and present them wonderfully. Excellent knife skills and should be an expert in dicing, carving and chopping; able to do simple carvings and garnishes. Work in coordination with other line cooks, be a team player. Must be well organized with great presentation and sanatation skills. Available to work weekends and holidays.

Maintenance General Maintenance

Must have previous general maintenance knowledge, skills and experience in plumbing, A/C, carpentry, mechanical and electrical. Ability to drive company vehicles; must have a valid driver's license with good driving history. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Weekend availability required.

Housekeeping Room Attendant

Previous housekeeping experience with ability to follow housekeeping procedures clean guest rooms/houses/villas assigned and within our standards. Maintain storage areas organized. Must be able to clean and finish assigned areas within daily scheduled shift, must have great customer service skills. Available to work all shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

Legacy Lodge Bell Stand Attendant

Previous bell stand (valet) experience preferred, must be at least 21 YEARS OF AGE with valid driver's license and good driving history. Escort arriving and departing guests in a friendly, courteous manner to and from their accommodations, transporting their luggage; able to lift and carry luggage. Acquaint each Guest with room and features. Transport guests by shuttle, trolley, golf cart, must maintain cleanliness of all vehicles. Available all shifts, weekends and holidays availability required.

Banquet Kitchen Culinary Supervisor

Hands on lead cook position in a'la carte and banquet operations. Work with Sous Chefs and Executive Chef to maintain food quality, associate productivity, cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Will be skilled in all cooking techniques, cold food presentation and volume production and pssess good communication and math skills. Must be available Mon-Sun, 6 a.m - 10 p.m., to include holidays. 

Golf Course Maintenance Golf Course Foreman

Assist with the direction and supervision of the golf course and maintenance team as determined by the Golf Course Superintendent. Previous general maintenance knowledge of turf grass management, plant management and golf course operation including proper use of equipment, spray, fertilizer, etc. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Wastewater Treatment Plant Treatment Operator

Under general supervision, performs technical work; performing preventive maintenance and reading various gauges and meters, collecting lab samples, and performing required analysis and tests. Requires working in varying temperatures. Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time. Must have flexibility with repetitive hand movements. Must comply with all company and department regulations. Must be able to perform strenuous work in dusty, wet, hot and dry environments.

Windows Restaurant Cook

Primary responsibility to produce breakfast buffet and a'la carte items. Will assist in lunch and banquet production, cold prep and work omelet stations in Window restaurant and on banquet and holiday buffets. Must be familiar with dry and moist cooking methods; presentation of hot foods. Able to read written instructions, able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Available every weekday, every shift to include weekends and holidays.

Maintenance HVAC Technician

Perform corrective repairs and complete preventative maintenance on HVAC and associated equipment.
Ability to complete project / work orders efficiently; perform timely and quality repairs. Ability to use basic tools or instruments to assemble, adjust, calibrate, repair or test various products. Maintains tools, supplies and / or equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of these items and that they are constantly in a safe and operable condition. Must be a dedicated team player while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Must have HVAC training or certification and have HVAC experience. Valid Georgia Driver's license with a good record required.

Maintenance Plumber

To maintain, repair and install plumbing systems, fixtures and equipment to ensure proper and safe operations. Maintains, repairs and replaces water. steam. gas and draining pipes within the facility to ensure proper operation and functions of piping systems. Assist with contractor request for temporary water supplies or shutting off of water, steam and gas supplies.

Maintain a presentable retail outlet, including the food and beverage aspect. Provide friendly service; must have exceptional guest service experience. Ability to restock merchandise as needed, maintain accurate inventory and communicate well with staff and supervisor. Previous Barista experience required. Must have cleanliness and organizational skills. Must be available all shifts to include weekends and holidays. AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE

Housekeeping Common Area Attendant

Maintain cleanliness in public areas to include designated office spaces, retail shops within the lodge. Assure all restrooms are clean and in sanitary conditions. Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience in a hotel/resort required, must have excellent communication skills and guest service skills. Availability to work all shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

Windows Restaurant Prep Cook

Will assist in the production of Windows and Banquet buffet foods. Focus on proper presentation, garnishing and freshness. Assist in daily buffet by working action stations and carving stations as needed. Responsible for cleanliness and organization of buffet areas while ensuring food safety by maintaining proper food temps. Will have guest interaction; must have great customer service skills.

Legacy Golf Cart Attendant

Responsible for dailty set-up, guest relations and nightly closing duties. Will assist guest with loading/unloading golf bags/equipment from guest vehicles and golf carts. Collect golf balls on practice range and return to clubhouse. Assist Pros and Starter/Rangers with group outings. Golf experience/knowledge preferred. Must be available weekends all days/shifts. MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE AND HAVE A VALID GA DRIVER'S LICENSE with good driving history.

Front Gates Attendant

Must have great communication skills and guest service skills. Direct guest to proper destinations. The collection and accurate reporting of fees and traffic.  Maintain effective communications with Public Safety officers and other island personnel. Maintain radio, key, dispatch logs, and incident log. Monday - Sunday availability and weekends/holidays.

Legacy Lodge Kitchen Commissary Cook

Previous hotel experience in prep and banquets or equivalent high volume restaurant experience. Excellent knife skills, ability to produce high quality of foods using all cooking methods. Familiarity with reading production sheets. Able to life and carry 50 lbs. Ability to read and speak the English language, with good math skills. Must enjoy working in a team environment which focuses on total guest satisfaction. Shift time: 9 p.m. - 7 a.m. with Mon - Sun availability.

Lanier World F & B Cook

Must have previous cooking experience with cleanliness and organizational skills. Ability to read and follow recipes, preparing and cooking food to order in a fast-paced environment. Available to work long hours, nights, weekends and holidays. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Lanier World Admissions/Rentals Attendant

Great personality with customer service knowledge; previous cash register experience or the ability to learn. Perform duties such as ticket cashiering, ticket taking, working mini-golf and season pass center. Must be able to work in outside conditions and stand for long periods of time.

Islands Catering Cook

Previous cooking experience, preferably Banquet style and be detail oriented. Knowledge of food inventory process a plus. Must have organizational, cleanliness and great communication skills. Able to work in outside environment for long hours, must be dependable, reliable and work well with minimal supervision. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Shift times vary, but must be available weekends and holidays.

Islands Catering Server

Previous catering/banquet service experience. Must have organizational, cleanliness and interpersonal and great communication skills. Able to work in an outside environment, must be dependable and reliable. A valid driver's license with good driving history is required to drive company vehicles and ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Shift times vary, but must be available weekends and holidays. AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.

Shoal Creek Campground Common Area Attendant

Duties include keeping restrooms clean and stocked and maintaining the overall cleanliness of Campground site areas, that include trash pick-up/removal. Able to assist guests and collect site rent as needed. Some basic general maintenance (electrical/water pipes, etc.) knowledge required. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs and work outdoors, exposed to summer weather elements and able to stand/walk for long periods of time. Shift times vary, weekends and holidays required.

Harbor Landing Boat Captain

Operate group boats and other boats as requested for guests of Lake Lanier Islands Resort. Assist dock staff with up keep on boats by informing the Harbor Manager. Must have a valid 100 Ton Masters License from USCG, previous captain experience. Great guest services experience is required.

Windows Restaurant Server

Must have previous experience in fast paced full-service restaurants with POS systems; MICROS preferred. Cleanliness and organizational skills, reliable and dependable, great communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs., replenish condiments as necessary and reset tables as needed.  Available to work weekends and holidays. AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.

BullFrogs Bar & Grille Server

Previous full-service restaurant experience, must be friendly and have organizational and cleanliness skills. Available to work long hours, weekends and holidays. Must be able to work well with others, work outdoors in summer elements and work under pressure.  Basic bar drinks knowledge helpful. AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE. 

Spa, Tranquility Massage Therapist

Must possess excellent communication skills and provide product knowledge, administer professional massages and body treatments to our clients. Ability to maintain spa appearance and cleanliness while upholding to our standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and follow policies and procedures. Must hold and maintain a current state license. Be proficient in various body work techniques and modalities and have knowledge of physiology. Ability to promote and up-sell products and services.

Banquets Server

Must have previous experience in fast paced full-service restaurants with POS systems. Cleanliness and organizational skills, reliable and dependable, great communication and interpersonal skills. Available to work all weekends and holidays. AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.

Banquets Logisitcs Support

Responsible for pulling equipment needed and delivering equipment, food and beverage to event in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness of catering vehicles and organization of all equipment and supplies; inventory. Availability Mon - Sun, 7 a.m. - 12 a.m. Holidays and weekends availability required.
