Wake the Lake Cable Park

What's a Cable Park?

This new cable park features a double-sided ramp and can accommodate several different types of watersports. Wake the Lake Cable Park is a pulley system that allows individuals to wakeboard, waterski, wakeskate, kneeboard or tube while being pulled by a cable. There is no boat required.

Tell Me More...

Cable parks are popular in Europe and are making their way into the water sports scene stateside as there are now over 60 cable parks in the U.S. Wake the Lake Cable Park rents gear such as wakeboards, skis, life jackets and helmets or you can bring your own. We plan on having several pro and amateur events as well as summer camps, demonstrations, water safety courses and more.

Where is it?

Accessible by boat or car, Wake the Lake Cable Park is located in the cove opposite of the new docks at Big Beach. If coming by car, park at the Big Beach parking lot.

When is it open?

The park opened in April, 2013 and will operate weekends through Memorial Day and then daily all summer long. LanierWorld hours are 10:00-6:00, with some night riding sessions available as well as other special events.
